Inaugural Starr Lecture
Jill’s House welcomed Dr. Michael Lindsay, President of Taylor University, as the speaker at the first annual Starr Lecture on November 12 at Top of the Town in Arlington, Virginia. This annual event honors the legacy of Ken and Alice Starr, who were early supporters of Jill’s House and instrumental in our launch in 2010. In Dr. Lindsay’s talk, “Blessings and Burdens,” he shared the joys and challenges of raising a daughter with intellectual disabilities.
